the Metropolitan in New York have
co-operated to send works of art to Phoenix!
Jerry has negotiated a reduced fee of $17 each.
There is a restaurant and snack bar available.
We will leave here at 9am and carpool.

Men's Brealfast each First Wednesday of the month at 8:30am at Grandview Terrace. Individual off the menu. Great social time.
Men's Fellowship meets at 9:00 AM, the second Tuesday of each month in the library (October thru May). All men members of the church are automatically members of the Men's Fellowship. Please feel free to join us.
Men's Fellowship also oversees our House Watch program. As the name implies, this is a service where volunteers from the church watch over the homes of winter visitors in their absence. Proceeds from House Watch help to fund community outreach programs and contribute to the upkeep of the church. Previously, House Watch provided numerous nursing scholarships for those students who would be employed at Del Webb and Boswell hospitals.
Our very active Men's Fellowship organization hosts monthly church events and catered dinners in the fall, winter and spring. In addition to a delicious meal, they provide amazing entertainment.

Social Committee: The Desert Garden Social Committee hosts several events during the year, most of which involve food! They organize the much anticipated "End of Summer" potluck dinner for those who have survived another scorcher here in the Valley. At the end of October, they prepare the "Welcome Back" dinner for members who are returning from their summer homes. At Christmastime, the Social Committee provides coffee and sweets for the volunteers who help with the task of putting up and taking down decorations.
The Social Committee also assists in the annual celebration for the couples of our church who are celebrating their 50, 60 or 70 year anniversary. This is always a joyous celebration with a renewal of vows ceremony during the service, followed by cake, punch and coffee in the Fellowship Hall.
