Concerned members engage in the ministry of prayer. Prayer requests can be placed in the offering plate during the worship service or called in to the church office. Those who wish to pray for others, receive a prayer list each week.
Information and Referral
The Care Team is continually gathering information to keep up to date on new and ongoing services available in the community. This information is available to all members in the church office and communicated in the monthly Oasis and Sunday Bulletin.
Personal Home Visits
A Care Team member is available to visit those who requested it or to visit those who are unable to make it to church.
Designated members of the Care Team go to the hospitals in our area to visit members of our congregation.
Phone calls are made to "check in and check up" on members that require
further communication after initial visit.
This group of volunteers who mails cards to members of the congregation who are experiencing joys or concerns in their lives.
As the name implies, this group of volunteers regularly delivers homemade cookies (provided by Church members) to the homebound members. In addition, they bring lap robes (made by Church members.) These visits are enjoyed immensely by both our shut-ins and our volunteers.
Flowers are taken to hospitals, nursing homes, or are given to members as a "thinking of you" bouquet.
Volunteers prepare emergency meals to be distributed when someone has returned
from the hospital or needs a special treat.
Volunteers are available to take members to medical appointments as needed, offer
rides to church or grocery shopping.
If you know of someone who may be in need of a visit from our pastor or are in need of a visit yourself or would like to become a part of the vital gift of caring, please contact our Church office 623-584-1795 email@example.com.
